COBRA is a Dutch abbreviation for 'COmbinatie therapie Bij Reumatoïde Artritis', which means: combination therapy for rheumatoid arthritis. COBRA therapy is prescribed for the treatment of early rheumatoid arthritis and consists of a combination of three anti rheumatic drugs: sulphasalazine, methotrexate and prednisolone.
